Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for a leading Young Person & Adult Drug & Alcohol Substance Misuse Recovery Service for three months minimum based in SL2 post code area of Slough in Berkshire, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service.
This role is set working hours 5 days a week 37.5 hours per week between Monday – Friday 9am-5pm with some flexibility possible to move start and finish times forward or back by up to an hour.
The post holder will support a caseload of Young or Adult People depending on your choice; undertaking assessments, developing person centred recovery plans & running evidence-based substance misuse interventions in groups & on a 1:2:1 basis. You will deliver interventions both face to face & via telephone / video technology where appropriate. You will also spend time working alongside Education, Employment and Social Services, providing guidance and support to change lives.
In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive ltd rate of pay of £21.46 per hour.
