Apricus Resourcing are working closely with a Charity Service looking to hire a Full Time Manager of a Dispersed Safe Accommodation Refuge for a leading Life Partnership Recovery Service based in the LE1 post code area of Leicester to quickly join on a temporary basis initially becoming permanent once the necessary paperwork is completed.
Here you will take the lead role in coordinating support services and a programme of activities in the county refuge, and dispersed properties, and to manage an employee team providing:
• Specialist housing advice
• Enhanced security measures as a part of a wider package of care and support
• Provision of accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.
You will also be a Designated Safeguarding Lead in the organisation, to further develop and implement safeguarding policies and practices alongside the Designated Safeguarding Manager, ensuring the highest safeguarding Safe Accommodation standards are in place throughout all aspects of service delivery, embedding further learning into working practice.
Due to the need to meet clients at locations a driving licence and your own transport is required, fuel cost for travelling away from main base will be reimbursed. You must also be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
In return for your commitment, the hirer is able to offer a very competitive starting salary £30,296 per annum (pro rata), with further regular reviews and increases to follow.
