Apricus Resourcing are working closely with a Charity Service looking to hire a Prison Cleared Substance Misuse Nurse (RN/RGN/RMN/RNLD) for an Award-Winning Specialist Substance Misuse Drug & Alcohol Recovery Charity Service based in HMP Holme House in Stockton on Tees TS18 2QU of County Durham / Teeside.
This role is working full or part time with as many hours as desired from 7.5 up to 52.5 hours per week any day Monday – Sunday 8am-4pm or 1pm-9pm.
The Nurse will be experienced with working in substance misuse recovery principles for opiate and non-opiate addictions, ITEP and NICE guidance on detoxification and stabilisation protocols. It is necessary to be able to demonstrate skills to ensure that the care delivered is specific and evidence based whilst adhering to service user’s needs, prior experience of working within community and clinic settings is advantageous but not essential.
In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of £27.00 per hour for weekdays, £29.00 per hour on weekends. The role is based on a rolling contract basis but there is a high chance the role will be turned permanent in the future.
