Apricus Resourcing are working closely with a Eating Disorder Health Service based in B15 post code area of Birmingham for a number of new exciting positions in the area. Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift from travelling away from usual workplace will be compensated and we are recruiting for the following:
Eating Disorder Health Care Assistant (HCA) / Support Worker: Supporting clients at base at B15 Post Code Area of Birmingham, the role is ideally working full time with hours 37 hours weekly Monday-Friday (9am-5pm), part time option may be considered please advise requirements if so but minimum of 2 days a week, this is a fixed term contract minimum 3 months going up to maximum 12 months long. Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift will be compensated.
You will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and older people.
Our Social Work Team makes up part of a wider multi-disciplinary assessment service including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Surveyors, we work alongside colleagues from local health trusts to ensure the holistic needs of our service users are met.
You will work as a member of the ward team by contributing to the provision of a comfortable and effective stay for patients with an Eating Disorder. To assist Nursing Teams in providing a high standard of Nursing Care. Being responsible for overseeing that the meal-time experience, ensuring that patients food is delivered correctly and portioned as per dietary care plan, that consumables are available to contribute to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. To work alongside the housekeeping and domestic support staff in ensuring the ward environment is fit for purpose. Supporting the ward manager and team with environmental risk assessments, ICPC issues and any other arising issues.

In return for your commitment, if paid via our agency we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of £17.52 per hour for week days and £19.11 for weekends.
