Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Drug & Alcohol Recovery Worker for a leading Person Focused Recovery Service for three months minimum based in BH1 post code area Bournemouth of Dorset, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service.
This role is working full time with standard hours 37 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, there is no scope to work part time at the moment sadly.
The post holder working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to ensure client needs and aspirations are at the centre of the support planning process. You will be the lead worker overseeing the support and development of the person’s needs and aspirations. You will guide and signpost the young person to the relevant statutory and non-statutory services and will be key in motivating and coaching the person to develop independent living skills. You will ideally bring experience working with young people in the community and in accommodation services, with knowledge including practical skills in motivation and coaching young people, ensuring approach is creative, analytical, trauma-informed and rooted in a strengths and recovery model. In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of between £19.11 – £20.23 per hour dependent on experience determined by interview score, however it may be possible to negotiate above this for candidates with exceptional experience.
